Holiday Inn Express - Sault Ste. Marie By Ihg

This hotel is in shambles! The pool was a chaotic nightmare with kids throwing toys, and the hot tub was unusable. No one seemed bothered. I expected a complimentary upgrade but was treated like everyone else. The breakfast was a complete disaster, with no eggs ready! I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't.

Tbh, had a very good stay for a quick visit. The location was decent, for example, a steam-powered ship was at a medium distance from the hotel. Took a walk around city center, located at a medium distance from the property.

The location was marvellous, not too far from a three - story museum. All the staff were accommodating.

The room was beautifully designed and looked just like the photos! The indoor pool area was fantastic, and the continental breakfast had plenty of delicious options. I enjoyed the spacious and cozy feeling of the King Suite with great amenities like a mini fridge and microwave.

The parking situation could use improvement.

The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. I appreciated the location, as it was close to shopping and dining options. The availability of a Tesla destination charger included in the parking fee was a fantastic bonus! The indoor pool and fitness center offered a refreshing experience after a busy day.

Good facility with clean room and friendly staff. BF was good, especially coffee.

Easy check-in and late check-out, plus the staff was affable. Overall the room was new-fashioned with sing cup coffee maker, comfortable beds, the fridge. We received great service from the pleasant staff.

Shaw wifi! Free breakfast! Nice facilities on site including free laundry room and clean pool. Comfortable room with nice beds, pillows etc. Very modern feel adds up for an overall nice stay! Late checkout request was accommodated on both stays which gave us some nice time to appreciate the facilities offered.

We stayed on two separate nights during our travels and on the second night stay we were in a room closer to the elevators and right beside the housekeeping storage room.It became SUUUUPER LOUD very early. I checked in late around 2:30am and decided to skip the free breakfast so I could sleep in a bit before hitting the road again for several hours. This was not possible. My wife brought me up some breakfast items and I was then quite unhappy to find there was no bacon being served that morning. NO BACON?? No discount offered by front end staff for the loud noise in the morning upon check out and no bacon..?

The rate. At first you quoted me $97.00 tax included per night. I get my confirmation email and it shows $340 for the three nights which would have been $170 for each of us. We ended up paying $394.40 or $ 196.20 each. I have my bill to prove it. Receptionist said they didn't have a rate of $97.00 including tax and that I would to take this up with Booked.net. Can you please explain this to me, why you quote something I can't get and can you reimburse me the difference please. Thank you

The room was beautiful and clean. Convenient free parking made accessing the hotel easy, and there were no issues finding a spot.

The pool area could use some supervision. Kids were going wild, jumping in without a care. On top of that, the breakfast selection was limited, with items running out quickly and not replenished in a timely manner.
